Hotels Near Nyhavn

Nyhavn is the prime waterfront and entertainment district in Copenhagen, Denmark. It features a series of townhouses, restaurants, and cafes lined up along the waterways. This is perhaps the most photogenic part of the city as it features a beautiful array of brightly colored 17th and 18th-century buildings, along with wooden ships strewn along the canal. The oldest houses in this street date all the way back to 1681, and this also happens to be the street where the famous composer Hans Christian Andersen used to live in the mid-1800s. When you’re visiting Copenhagen, you should ideally find a place to stay in Nyhavn itself. And, if you don’t find a place there, you should look for hotels as close to Nyhavn as possible. To make your choices easier, we’ve compiled a list of the top 10 hotels near Nyhavn!

There’s a metro link within a short distance from the hotel, and as such, you can be connected to the rest of the city as well. The only little hitch in the location is that currently there’s ongoing construction for a new metro line in the surrounding region. As such, the windows in the hotel are triple-glazed to make them soundproof. Hotel D'Angleterre Copenhagen was established back in 1755 and as such it’s rich with history, having hosted a number of Danish events and luminaries.
